Who is OB Racing?
OB Racing is Joshua, Chris, Jeremy and Steph.
We are a group of childhood friends for more than 15 years and have the same burning passion for motorsports. We want to play a part in growing the community in Singapore as well as in the region. We enjoy motorsports as well as interacting with everyone from all over the world! If you have anything to feedback to us, please, drop us a line at feedback@obracing.sg
Why did you guys set up OB Racing?
The first time we stepped into a kart was in 2002.
No one gave much thought about safety. T-shirts and jeans were the accepted driving gear and soon we saw more and more injuries to our friends and loved ones while doing what they enjoy: racing. Most of these injuries could be avoided by wearing the appropriate race gear.
So how can we encourage motorsports without compromising on safety, while at the same time make it affordable for everyone? There is so much work to be done in this field.
This is why we formed OB Racing.
Ok, that's cool. So what else do you guys do at OB Racing ? What's your mission?
OB Racing has a mission to ignite true motorsports passion in anyone and everyone who has the chance to interact with. We do this by providing access to karting events and quality karting equipment. Safety and education is a paramount consideration in our offerings. We aim to promote all of this by inculcating in each participant a sense of responsibility and fairplay in our events. In the events that we organise, a highlight is to instill the right mindset for racing and a basic understanding of the track rules as well as safety equipment available.
The OB Racing website looks so different from other online stores. Why is this so?
We, being customers too, know how boring it is to visit online stores. This website was designed to make your shopping experience more memorable by providing free tips and information on karting, racing, and of cos, Formula One.
We aim to make this website a portal for motorsports enthusiasts from all over the world.
How can I trust that what I am purchasing from OB Racing is the best for me?
Like we mentioned earlier, we are customers too. We have bought from the best and from the worst. Trust us, we know HOW it feels to be at the end of a poor bargain. Overpriced apparels, low quality products, we know it all. We know what is best for ourselves, and now we want to pass this on to you so you can enjoy racing the way we do and the way it is meant
to be: FUN!
But your prices are so ridiculously low compared to other stores!
Am I getting sub-standard quality apparels?
Low prices do not mean low quality. Low prices mean we are able to find the lowest possible cost from our committed group of suppliers and pass these cost savings to our customers, that is YOU.
Low prices also mean you do not pay for middle man charges or advertising costs.
And because we mail locally for free, you do not pay "hidden" mailing and packing charges.
All international orders pay exact shipping costs. Nothing more.
We are sorry we do not sell sub-standard quality apparels. If you are looking for cheap and low quality a.k.a. UNSAFE apparels, please kindly look elsewhere.
OB Racing is an advocate of safety racing.
Alright, give me one last reason to convince me you are not another one of those "businessmen" out there who just wants to earn my buck.
At OB Racing, we're drivers too. Yes, that means we all have our own karts.
We get down on our hands dirty in all aspects of karting, i.e. from the purchasing to the importing to the setting up and testing of our own karts. We know our stuff.
All the gallery pictures are taken in person by the team, which means we were PERSONALLY
at those tracks!
In short, we are just like one of you.

Why does it take 2-3 weeks for my stuff to arrive after I placed my order with OB Racing?
We source for the best prices from our committed group of suppliers, that is why you get the lowest prices but because it takes time to source for the best prices, it may take up to 3 weeks for your orders to arrive. As much as we like you to start racing with our racegear, we hope you understand your order takes time to arrive in the best condition possible. If it arrives sooner, you get it sooner. No we don't like to hug your apparels to sleep. We have our own too.
